Column, a rapidly growing public notice software platform, has acquired Modulist, a North Dakota company serving publishers. This acquisition will expand Column’s offerings and capabilities, including classified advertising. Since its 2020 launch, Column has worked with over 500 newspapers, facilitating transactions of public notices and legal ads. The company, which operates remotely, secured $30 million in Series A funding in 2022. The acquisition was finalized in late 2023, with several Modulist employees joining Column. Current Modulist customers can expect a seamless transition.
