ElevenLabs, a pioneering voice AI startup, has recently announced an $80 million Series B funding round, propelling the company to the prestigious unicorn status. This Brooklyn-based firm has not disclosed its exact valuation but confirmed its entry into the unicorn club.
This funding round marks a significant increase from its Series A in June, where ElevenLabs raised $19 million at a post-money valuation of $99 million. The Series B round was jointly led by Andreessen Horowitz, Nat Friedman, and Daniel Gross, with participation from Sequoia Capital, SVA, Smash Capital, BroadLight Capital, and Credo Ventures.
ElevenLabs is revolutionizing the way creators and enterprises interact with content by offering AI software that can mimic voices in numerous languages. The company is gearing up to introduce a range of new products, including a dubbing studio and a voice library marketplace.
